Casa Rojo Winery was born with a clear mission: to create a space that reflects the essence of wine and allows it to be enjoyed in an inspiring environment. A project that unites architecture and oenology, seeking to enhance the visitor's sensory experience.
In this place, every detail is designed so that the wine and those who enjoy it are the protagonists. From the selection of materials to the lighting, everything contributes to creating an atmosphere that invites calm and contemplation.

The interior space is visually connected to the natural environment that surrounds it through large openings that frame the landscape, while being protected from direct solar radiation by large overhangs.
Due to the climate of Jumilla, with high temperatures in summer and cold winters, the building envelope was studied to achieve great energy efficiency and interior comfort.

The design embraced simplicity, using traditional materials such as white stucco and ceramics. The choice of ceramics responds to the natural color of clay, a material used over the years for wine production in amphorae.
The building integrates the industrial and social areas, with no apparent distinction from the outside. The offices, tasting area and wine tourism visits are located in the south area; reserving the north part and basement for wine production, rooms that need to be protected from heat and solar radiation.

The building's volumetry, essential in its forms and materiality, welcomes the visitor, and also bids them farewell, continuing their path among the vineyards.
The landscape and the sun's trajectory interact with the building, which seems to absorb the essence of the surrounding territory, as well as the nuances of light as it falls on its materials and finishes.
